Don’t drink Mt. Dew before bed.

I was up half the night with my mind racing so of course I’m totally exhausted today, so guess what more Mt. Dew its a vicious cycle.

I was on a total health food kick, working out 3-4 times a week and eating like a rabbit, then life got crazy and the diet went out the window. Why is it that some people can change the kind of breakfast cereal they eat and instantly drop 10lbs. and there I am killing myself dieting and working out and getting no where. Then there are those people who have a baby and a week later are back in there size 2 jeans. Genetics are not fare. I’m convinced that I am genetically unable to loose weight so I’m rebelling and eating and drinking whatever I want. (thus Mt. Dew at 10:00 PM)

OK enough of my pity party back to the diet and yes I promise to give up not just Mt Dew, but all soda.

I’m off to a business luncheon were I not only have to pretend to be awake, but have to try and find something on the menu that fits within the newly rejuvenated diet.

P.S. Victory on the no soda thing at lunch, but complete failure on the healthy menu choice. We went to Chinese food, and I had deep fried chicken pieces smothered in lemon sauce, fried rice, and a deep fried egg roll. I don’t think I could have consumed any more grease if I tried. Oh well there is always tomorrow.Â
